Description: Great fighter. Very sucessful plane in hands of well trained soviet pilots, but many of these Migs were shot down because of low level training and bad tactics of Korean pilots. |

The South was not occupied by the Soviets during WWII so it was assisted by the United States and other western nations. It was not an entirely Korean matter since the United Nations had a mandate in the region for reunification through free and fair elections. Obviously the war stopped that from happening.
