ab19901 ::: Favorites I read about this particular incident earlier. Apparently the news crew had been asked (several times) to wrap it up so the game could begin but did not. The game was already late starting due to the news crew delaying things and the umpires basically had enough. Minor league umpires perform a difficult job for little pay. I don't blame the guy for telling the Dan Rather wantabe to get off the field.
