Description: Simon the Pieman sets out to be the new king(rolling)pin of crime in Gotham City. He and his "pie-thons" capture Robin on stakeout, and put him under the grindstone of a windmill, as storm winds approach -- while Batman is stuck in a traffic jam! Later, Simon invites Batman to a mixer -- a giant electric mixer, that is. Simon also serves up chocolate-covered Batgirl, and hot buttered Robin! Some voices: Batman: Olan Soulé (who voiced Batman on Radio in the 1940s) Robin: Casey Kasem Batgirl: Jane Webb Narrator & Simon: Ted Knight (2 years BEFORE "Mary Tyler Moore") |

Scarletspeedster68 ::: Favorites I know, I know, but given that they released The New Adventures of Batman (1977) in June, you'd think they would have done the same for the 1968 version also. *sigh* 07-09-08 09:37:10 __________________________________________________ | |
cubbi1977 ::: Favorites I'm hoping they do put this cartoon on DVD since I've only saw the re-runs on WGN in the late 70s or early 80s. 07-09-22 11:53:27 __________________________________________________ |
