Well, I don't think we should make that legally mandatory, but I do subscribe to the credo, "Live simply, that others may simply live." I definitely agree with the spirit of what you're saying.

What you're saying isn't as easy as "lending out money to developing countries". I'm part Cambodian, so I happen to know a great deal of what goes on in that third-world country, and I'll be the first to tell you, injecting money into these countries would be a huge mistake. A prime reason that many countries are as poor as they are is the fact that their governments are corrupt.

They horde money for themselves and screw over their citizens. We need to find another solution to help out these people. I know that Cambodia doesn't need money (yet), it needs a revolution.

Many solutions, much more complex than simply sending money, I agree. I don't mean to oversimplify it in the video.

"we should only allow them to get certain sized homes or amount of cars..." Am I to understand that you want Government to dictate how one can spend one's own money and for that matter dictate how much money is enough per household? Let's cap the ambitious or better yet, play Robin Hood!

No, that's not what I want. My reply said that the law should not say anything about that. But personally, there is only so much that I really need to survive comfortably and be happy, and for my family to do the same. That was what I meant.

Thank goodness you brought this to the table. I hope Gov. Romney will address this question. Cuddos Sean.
