Description: Voice of Teddy Rooseveld on "The Right of the People to Rule". Video & Images from the era. There are practical solutions. But we haven't even been looking for them! The "System" isn't some untouchable, immovable and magical wall that we can't affect. It's a collection of very real sub-systems which we can and must attend to. Representative Government requires not only values and the vote (both essential), but it requires systems re-enabling neglected lines of opinion/motivation flow between citizen/voters and citizen/implementers.(Isn't obscure language fun!) Time to move your heads out of this box of powerlessness you've gotten yourselves into! P.U.D. Accounts (Pooled, User-Determined Accounts) and the highly saturated, persistant and stable user-base they create, establish a platform worth plenty. However, this may be best resident under a non-profit, foundation structure. It's basic and other derivative capabilities not discussed here must be very well protected to secure their civic functions. Email Your REPRESENTATIVES. Let them know you demand a neutral, non-partial & Transparent ONLINE PUBLIC SQUARE! |

Pragmatiman ::: Favorites 2007-12-15 15:45:33 Actually he's right if you could just click with a mouse and give 25 cents or something... if we had practical ways to get our preferences across CONSTANTLY but CHEAPLY yet POWERFULLY that would be a really big deal! __________________________________________________ | |
