rorocigio ::: Favorites 2007-12-11 14:01:58 I am now disabled and treating it but its going to be a long slow process, IF I ever get better at all. I just want you to know that always remember you have lyme and know the symptoms of the later stages so that if you get those symptoms later in your life you can know its the lyme and don't have the idiot doctors try to say each symptom is something else and treat you for the wrong thing. No you probably wont die, but I suffer so much now I wish I was dead. __________________________________________________
rorocigio ::: Favorites 2007-12-11 14:01:21 A year later I started getting knee pain, but non of the dr's considered I might still have lyme. Over 15 years I got more and more symptoms, pains, problems with every organ in my body, back and neck pain, heart problems. Not one dr out of about 50 from some of the best hospitals all over the world ever thought it might be lyme. __________________________________________________
rorocigio ::: Favorites 2007-12-11 13:57:57 I don't mean to be cruel, but just because you are a kid doesn't mean you should not know the truth. you need to know the truth so you can protect yourself. I too got lyme, caught it early, had the rash and treated with a month of antibiotic. it was not enough. IT DOES NOT ALWAYS GET RID OF IT! __________________________________________________
disturbedme5 ::: Favorites 2007-11-26 09:18:30 Yep, lyme disease is TERRIBLE. I hope you're feeling better. Your lucky you caught yours early, AND your lucky you even got the EM rash. Most people do not get a rash -- I didn't. And probably have had lyme for over 5 years unknowingly. I've been suffering with lyme for a long time and it's a terrible dibilitating disease. You're not going to die. Sometimes it feels that way with such a horrid disease -- I feel like death a lot, but it'll be okay. __________________________________________________
Skyedaughter ::: Favorites 2007-11-10 10:39:30 My sister sent me this site. I hope you're doing okay. I noticed that your screen name is artgirl, or artgal ... so, I'm guessing that means you're an artist. I am too. Have you found a way to do your art in the midst of all the symptoms? I've realized that I'm going to have to set up a way to work in bed. Did you know that many of Frida Kahlo's works were done while she was sick in bed. Also Matisse ... his cutouts pieces were done in bed. Thank you for sharing your story. ~ Linda __________________________________________________

blackroze2200 ::: Favorites 2007-10-19 19:00:26 As a survivor to in other survivor of Lyme disease. You have caught the disease in the early stage your outcome can be wonderful due to that fact. I'm thankful that it was caught in the early stage. I wish you a healthy, and wonderful future. Sincere, Black Rose __________________________________________________
blackroze2200 ::: Favorites 2007-10-19 18:51:42 As a survivor to another survivor OF Lyme disease. your outcome could be wonderful considering you have called it an early stage. I wish you the best of luck and a healthy future. __________________________________________________
magaro99 ::: Favorites 2007-09-11 20:00:35 Please relax... Do not worry !!! You caught it VERY early and although you might get sick it is totally cureable in the early stages. I got bit by a tick in 1994 !!! It went undiagnosed until two months ago (July 2007). I am still fine. I have some issues but I am being treated and am told I most likely will make a full recovery. I am not sure who misinformed you. Please update your blog so we know how you are doing. __________________________________________________
cotmh ::: Favorites 2007-09-09 16:03:56 You aren't going to die. Dying from Lyme is rare. Many people have Ld and live with it unknowingly for lifetimes. I have had it 10 years. You need reliable blood tests,a good LLMD (lyme literate Md) asap. Get on antibiotics NOW for at least 6 weeks or it can turn chronic. Visit Lyme Disease forums where you can find help & an LLMD. A site that is loaded w/info is truthaboutlymedisease Get treatment, you will be fine. __________________________________________________
