We wanted it to be a big sha-bang when I threw "the substance" (which was actually some dirt inside a coffee filter) into the fire, so we doused it in flammable fluid. As you can see, it really didn't give off the effect that we wanted...at all...ha! Which makes it 10 times more comical.
