Hi. What size is your tank and how big is your fish there? Is the wood real, or fake? Sorry, but it's a beautiful set up. Thanx. :)

its a 55 Gal tank that i purchased at walmart for $175. It included the filter/heater/lights. The fish was 4 inches in this vid. The wood and stumps were purchased from petsmart online for a about $65 for everything

I want to point out gold fish are not an Oscar's natural source of food. Oscars are omnivorous and their diets consist of fruits, plants and insects for the most part. Not to mention gold fish contain an enzyme that blocks the ability to absorb vitamins. There is no nutritional value to feeding your Oscar this. The only thing it does is subjects your cichlid(s) to illness a sick "feeder" can bring into your aquarium.

If you just got him don't worry, oscars get stressed when they get moved around and they will sulk like a sad child for a few days sometimes. Start out with pellet food and he will eat when he gets hungry enough. He just needs to get used to his surroundings. He needs a big tank at least 30 gal when he is small and 55gal when he gets big. Check out oscarfishlover"dot"com for good info
