Here is another one of my video montages which bites back at the Ragin Cajin for shooting his mouth off on Howard Dean's 2006 victory.

as far as I'm concerned, it had to do with Bill moving to the center. This demoralized the democratic base, and they didn't come out to vote. The GOP took congress with just 27% of the voters going to the polls. In 2006, 40% of the voters went to the polls.

Dick Morris did a much better job for Clinton. The Dems lost Congress mostly because of Bill's tax raise and the Hillary-care fiasco. Of course the fact that Gingrich had a laundry list of rolling back governmental control(conservatism) had a lot to do with it too.

RE:jennp222 (1 day ago) I think he spent money on the State and local candidates. This is where the actual fight is occurring not at the federal level. Dean went to the frontlines. Kerry has lots of money to spare and so do the wealthy elected. If they are loyalists, they shouldn't have to be told to assist financially. "I Had Lunch with speaker ginrich, today..." Carvel Sleeping with the enemy, Carvel says it with a smile mile wide on his face.

Basically, the Dems that got elected sounded pretty much like Dems. Not one Senator that got in was a conservative. As far as the ones running, the most conservative you got was Harold Ford, but he still wasn't a conservative. He was a moderate liberal. The "new conservative Democrats" angle is overplayed and untrue.

Not true. Most of the Dems that got in are moderate to liberal Dems; this applies to both the Senate and the House. In the Southern states, you're almost always going to get more conservative candidates, and more liberal when you go north. That doesn't mean they're conservative -- that's means they're MORE conservative than, say, Pelosi or Whitehouse.

And what labels are we talking about? Is not making sense something you excel at?

You'll need more adhesive for your crappy labels.

Nope. But I'll tell you this -- you obviously don't know what a jab is, and you're overly giddy for any sort of "disorganization" from another party.
