I was pretty much able to figure out Movie Maker on my own. It's very easy, mind you we all know there's not as much you can do w/ it. So I finally got the Sony Vegas. Opened the program & just sat there with my jaw on the desk wondering what degree I'd need to figure it out. TY!It helps!

you're not "Ate up with stupid." Movie Maker isn't intuitive for a lot of people. Incidentally, Vegas Movie Studio imports Panasonic DVD footage just fine.

By the way, I have enough trouble using Windows Movie Maker, much less try to learn a new type. Sometimes I still don't use Windows Movie Maker very well. I must be ate up with stupid!!

I think it is terrible when you buy a product from a clerk and he knows absolutely nothing about it. I have a Panasonic Camcorder that takes the 3" disc. But he didn't bother to tell me it will only work with computer if you use DVD RAM type disc. I read the book and went out to buy that type of disc. Guess what? Most stores don't handle it. I have to go out of town to acquire that type. Really sucks!
