kingarjun93 ::: Favorites of course the aeroplane is gonna stall in that kind of angle of attack and in that altitude there is no looking back for recovery 07-08-30 16:46:39 _____________________________________________________
stewarti2000 ::: Favorites These details are correct Accident at Gimli on Aug 27, 1992. An experimental, modified Caribou. Rudder lock was engaged & aileron lock had been disengaged at the moment of impact. Conclusion is the gust-lock system hadn't been disengaged & that some locks had been engaged after take-off. If the control surfaces aren't in neutral position when the lock is engaged, movement of surfaces through neutral will engage it. Details at asasiDOTorg / papers/ 2001 / Four Unrelated AccidentsDOTpdf 07-08-04 13:52:15 _____________________________________________________
