Would increasing the concentration of salt have a positive effect on the efficiency process?

Cool. So, I could drive my car faster by turning up my stereo. And if you're in a boat on the ocean, you never run out of fuel. On freshwater lakes, you'd have to pack a salt lick for your hybrid motor.

since the flame seems to hold a temp of 1500c or 2732f every second (according to one of the other vids), and that would equal an output of 1.5 kilocalories or 1500 calories per second, wouldn't this reaction be considerably higher in energy output? however, the water itself isn't being heated, the hydrogen and oxygen released are igniting instead, so depending how much energy goes into making that come out may alter that figure completely...

Pushing a rock up a hill (splitting salt water to gas) will *always* require at least the same amount of energy as you get by rolling it back down (burning the gas back to salt water). If this process is more efficient than electrolysis, it might be used as an alternate mean to convert water to hydrogen. But that does not make it a fuel source, that makes it a 'battery'.

"The fact that the released hydrogen may then be burned to create lots of new heat energy isn't directly related to the energy utilized to break down the seawater." Yes it is! Pushing a rock up a hill (splitting salt water to gas) will *always* require at least the same amount of energy as you get by rolling it back down (burning the gas back to salt water).

i dont see how you could possibly know how "efficient" this reaction really is ive seen several videos already and not one has said how efficient it is. so i think that your point lacks evidence.
