drdirs ::: Favorites Errr.. would Americans be willing to pay enough for goods not made in sweatshops? Because if that were the case, Walmart wouldn't be producing goods in sweatshops to begin with. steveisgood ::: Favorites I really dig Penn Jillette and I this is a great show, but Penn does tend to worship at the altar of the free market, and clips like this serve only to rationalize exploitation. LeprechaunEater ::: Favorites Yeah I know. They could be paid 2 cents an hour but with sweatshops they get 4 cents an hour. Instead of eating dirt once a day, now they can eat dirt twice a day. These damn hippies just don't get it. These people like to work 14 hours days and get a slave wage for their back braking work, they're grateful.
