deegan463 ::: Favorites well it was officially adopted by the red army in 74 hence the name AK-74. as for variants, all i know of besides the 74U and the non military 105 and 107 is the north korean "copy", which seems to be used less than their version of 47. and yes the AKM is still in service for tank/vehicle crews, aswell as higher ranking (spetznaz, black berets) who prefer the power of 7.62 over 5.45 07-08-16 01:44:31 _____________________________________________________
Staatssicherheit ::: Favorites But what about AK104 its 7.62 O.o. And OC-14? Those are 7.62 versions of. They sure doesnt have problems getting the arms i quess. And 5.45mm is lot more deadly, its lot faster than 7.62 and just as long. So its thin. And it doesnt take the force of its own weight in rotation inside a human body. deegan463 ::: Favorites uh yes they r but i thought u were talking about the 5.45's. well ur right about the trajectory but it doesn't divide that much. ur thinking more of the 5.56, which consistenly rips several inches through muscle and tissue,and then SHATTERS. the 7.62 still has more raw power and is much better for penetration, and has twice the weight. but its not me its the facts, and the continue to stock both types because of preference. 07-08-17 20:22:25 _____________________________________________________
