| buchanangenesis ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 18:49:02 yes morgoth 195, i totally agree these two are my favourite drummers too. can't stand when people say Phil iosn't good, if Bruford says he's amazing, he's amazing. That's all the proof in the world that you Phil doubters need! Regardless, I love both of these drummers, each are unique, and each have great playing styles. __________________________________________________ | |
| tazslingerland ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 17:36:48 Bill makes art and music I prefer this kind of dummers .... __________________________________________________ | |
| morgoth195 ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 15:06:57 In the Genesis book "Chapter and Verse", Bruford gushes about what an amazing drummer and all-round musician Collins is (or was). He mentions things that Collins could do (like sing in a totally different rhythm than what he was playing in) that Bruford was amazed by. If you doubt me, pick up the book! __________________________________________________ | |

| buchanangenesis ::: Favorites 2007-12-29 13:01:50 Bruford and Phil Collins, best drummers ever. __________________________________________________ | |
| buchanangenesis ::: Favorites 2007-12-29 13:00:23 i agree he is special, and is one of if not the best, such poise and ease. He is certainly the most technical and and intricate with his style. Not so hard on phil though men, burofrd and collins are my favourite drummers, whats great about phil is his explosiveness and lightning speed, and the intracasy is still there but usually in very quite ghost notes, having said that bruford is still special, deifnately one of the best. he is like a phd in drumming __________________________________________________ | |
| blondeandblue ::: Favorites 2007-12-28 11:44:20 i disagree about peart strongly, he shows the same fluidity, and he is in no way overrated, but bill is different. he is lovely to watch, perfect. __________________________________________________ | |
| robste ::: Favorites 2007-12-25 22:35:29 Same here. When you see Peart, Collins, Palmer, and others in their genre, you can witness a whole lot of effort in their playing. In some ways, it can be exciting to watch, but with Bruford, there's a fluidity and an ease that always makes him a joy to watch. __________________________________________________ | |
| robste ::: Favorites 2007-12-25 22:32:07 Bill's used Paiste cymbals for his entire career. __________________________________________________ | |

| kirk193 ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 13:38:35 effortless. thats why phil collins, neil peart and other overrated prog drummers dont even come close. __________________________________________________ | |
| pandespinas ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 00:39:43 it is in fact a china. __________________________________________________ | |
| DemilichFan ::: Favorites 2007-11-25 18:44:39 what kind of cymbals does he use? that crash about the big tom sounds like a china __________________________________________________ | |
